Event News: Clockwork Spiral, part 1

The same people who brought you World Goth Fair, and Gothmas by Gaslight are back!  The Clockwork Spiral is a shopping and music event in the flavor of Steampunk, Diesel Punk, and Dark Victoriana to help raise money for the National Kidney Foundation. TODAY: Friday the 20th 8pm SL is the BIG Steampunk Party at the Club Gothika Airship in the sky. DJ Lokii Violet of MV will be rocking the house steampunk style, and there will be prizes for Best in Steampunk! Be there!  .... The next party is on Sunday, September 22 9pm SL and DJed by Pie Zipper of Avatar Bizarre and he'll be spinning mixture of darkness.

First let me tell you about the goodies at Clockwork Spiral in the image above are. I am wearing the new dreads hair that comes with touch color change for the goggles. The Seraph Wings by Unrepentant are wearables and mod. Also on sale are the full perm kits for the wings. The pocketwatch I am wearing is cool right? Well guess what? Totally free at House of Rain! Look for the blue lantern on the table. The copper Dolphin by Oceania is an animated pet you can wear and an exclusive 100% donation to the event. (btw, Dont rez Squeaker on the ground or you will blowing steam struggling to catch that fast coppery bottlenose. lol) Okay, I have to give a Kudo for this badass tesla shocking glove by Choas, Panic and Disorder. Very cool. Kudos! If you don't have this handy shocker for dastardly deeds, you can scoop it up at Clockwork Spiral. And now some more big news..., New Skins at Tableau Vivant! New Skins at Tableau Vivant! Yes I said that twice because there are 2 new skin sets on sale right now at the grand reopening.  I am wearing Lucis tone 5 above. This fun scarf I have on is by Static. I love the wind blown look. The face piercing are by Haus of Darcy and were once a group gift, but if you missed it you can pick it up for 50L. The earrings are a part of the Soul set for men, I tinted them red to match the other piercings. The Military jacket I got on a Fifty Linden Friday. This style with start patch on the shoulder is not available now, but if you want the nice green duster, it's the main Deco store. The red and black eyeliner by Tableau Vivant is from the past Gallery Gift Shop hunt. The red pant, which I seem to be wearing a lot, are by The Little Bat and were on sale at World Goth Fair. The eyes are a subscription gift by Poetic Colors, and there is a new one too, Rainforest.  The Airship on the image below is by Garden of Dreams and Super cool. I love the noises and effects on it. The Mermaid Pearls Hunt prizes are awesome. There are many freebies for the men, (including a mesh tail!), underwater scene building items (including low land impact mesh!), and wildly popular Oceania plushie collectables. The Mermaid Pearls Hunt starts HERE. Click the Exclamation point. Below it, you will see a large parchment with a pearl on it. That's the hunt object you are looking for. Each person will take a different route on the hunt. Your route will be told in the local chat. You must do it in the correct order. There are handy signs throughout the sims that give teleport links to the stores. This is a great hunt, fast, and fun with fabulous prizes. Several stores also have freebies out in addition to the hunt prizes.

World Goth Fair: The Spooky Kids

STORYLINE: The denizens of Cursed swirled around Little Black Hood. She noticed two kids popping something glowing in their mouths. Being an aspiring cook, she was curious to know what it was. As she got closer, she noticed the delicious smell was exactly like her new secret ingredient! The girl tilted her head and grinned at her. "You want some?" The girl suddenly grabbed her hand, and two strange teens lead her down to the entrance of a cave. Scary looking soldiers in red were guarding it. "No, over here. This way!" The boy tugged on her and pointed to a hidden opening. When she landed inside, she gasped. The cave was a marvel bioluminescent plants and animals. "We don't know what the Scarlet Rebellion is up to, but damn these mushrooms are good!" The boy stole a few and tucked them into his backpack. The girl leaned in close, her strange eyes sparking with mischief. "The rumor is these mushrooms are fertilized with the Blood of the Ancients." Suddenly gunfire erupted into the cavern. "Oh shit! Run!" A bullet whizzed past her. Little Black ran deeper into the cave until she heard no more sounds and it was completely black. Now what would she do?

Unlike all the bootleg band items out there, these shirts are the real deal! On the back of the shirts is the S.o.p.h.i.e logo. Each spin at the gacha will cost 40L. All money from sales is donated to S.o.p.h.i.e the Sophie Lancaster Foundation. You have to get these! And if you don't know the bands, just give them a search on Youtube! You may like what you hear! Two of the rares I try to get are Voltaire and You Shriek. So if you get one of those in mens, you can send me an IM in world and make me cry. lol

I am holding one of the two Awesome Oceania Angler plushies. Who doesn't love this lovely lady of the deep? So cute! On the shoulder of Ms Fulli is the limited edition Gaia Crimson Night. (All you FF fans need to check that out!) The pants I am wearing are by Forsaken and they are a super good fit! It's so rare you get truely great fitting pants, and these have wicked bats on them too. The rings and bracelets are freebies from Inspired Designs. The WGD hat and slippers are gachas from LooLoo. And Necklace by The Little Bat. The backpack and earrings are by Squeek!  They are lot of fun! And next door is Blackeri with some great free guyliners. Fulli is wearing the cute Spooky Kid style with dress by DK, and Leggings by Dark Water Design in the gacha. Her Burn necklace and ring are by House of Rain.

World Goth Fair and Nightstalker Hunt

The biggest names in SL Gothic fashion and lifestyle gathered in one place! Walk along the midway, scoop up sponsor freebies, and test your luck on many gatcha at the tents and throughout the sim. Each store has an exclusive item for only this event. 50% of the proceeds go to the Sophie Lancaster Foundation. World Goth Day be broadcast on radio live in NYC WFMU radio, and inworld at Goth Fair sim starting at 3 am ET. 13 hours of music, and the party could last even longer, who knows?
