STORYLINE: The smartest girl from Hufflepuff, a junior, had a secret crush on Fennimore. She didn't hesitate to rescue little white kitten, and smuggle him into her dorm room. She cooed at him, brushed his fur, and gave him warm milk to drink.

STORYLINE: When Fennimore awoke the next day from his "catnap" he saw her smiling at him as she handed him a robe to wear. "It's really in your best interest you don't graduate," she said. "You're not ready. Come on, I'll help you. We can study together." He blushed from embarrassment, but immediately agreed. With someone like her helping him, maybe he would do better. Never did it cross his mind the one who attacked him was not some jerk from Slytherin, but her.

I had a lot of fun with this. Seriously, how can you not have fun with a Harry Potter theme? lol  The robe I am wearing is the Kastle Rock Couture Eyes Wide Shut prize. The hunt ends Oct 7th. The collar is one of the many freebies that can be won at Death Row lucky chairs. My Slink feet match the SLink hands nicely. They're awesome. It's a good investment. Event News: Clockwork Spiral, part 1

The same people who brought you World Goth Fair, and Gothmas by Gaslight are back!  The Clockwork Spiral is a shopping and music event in the flavor of Steampunk, Diesel Punk, and Dark Victoriana to help raise money for the National Kidney Foundation. Madpeas: The Lennon Park Massacre

STORYLINE: Summer Camp was supposed to be fun. But people went missing. At first it was only one camper, then another, and another. It didn't take much brains to know there was foul play. That night, Dave was woken by his dog's warning bark. If it weren't for his trusty dog, he would have been a goner for sure! A heavy tree almost hit him in his sleep. Someone chopped that tree down on purpose to fall on top of his tent.

Lots to talk about in this one. First, if you haven't done it already, go get yourself a HUD and play the newest Madpeas game. I had a blast with this one. Hunt News: BareRose 8th Anniversary - PixelMoon

BareRose is turning 8! To celebrate they are having the PixelMoon minihunt. I love the BareRose Hunts because they have nice storylines, sets, and multiple fun prizes. The XepetT outfit comes in sizes for male, female with tango applier, petitie, and titan. There is a prize for Tinies too! The little doll character Tiny Pinocco comes in two forms: a shoulder pet, and a Tiny avatar. The red fish hovercar is a wearable ride with blinking glow materials speical effects! Turn on your advanced lighting and you will see it. I helped fellow blogger of Dark Phantom on her post this evening, and she helped me on the PixelMoon Hunt while Fulli is on vacation. Unfortunately, I was not able to get a good clean picture that had SSB, materials that rendered correctly (I get dark noise artifacts on materials), and shadows that rendered correctly (the hovercar + Aarya had missing shadows, and glowing transparencies turned to a solid flat black). I had to do heavy retouching in Photoshop to fix these errors. (I hope to get a reliable Mac materials viewer soon. All I can do for now is file bug reports.)

The Eclipse Incident: Day Clan

STORYLINE: But it was the time for Day Clan the rule. The two sides readied their weapons. Day accused Night of using black magic to swallow the sun. Night called Day liars using tricky to incite a war. The situation seemed hopeless. There cannot be both Day and Night at the same time. "Look!" a small child pointed to the sky. The sun was reemerging. The Day Clan called off the war. The Night Clan warned they would back, and in greater numbers, next time Day made false allegations.

In the background is a cool house by Aisling that is only 35 land impact. YES! A mesh house that has lovely textures, has doors, collisions, security, no phantoms and only 35 LI! It's all mesh, and that means you can scale it up for titan size, or scale it down for petities.  Pretty cool. The trees are a group gift from Isovii that comes with a menu to change leaf color. Both poses, and the set are by Chanimations. The kit has 3 poses in all. I am wearing a cool Goblin mask by Kahli Designs that was in the fantasy gothca. My jacket is by The Library and called Mr Darcy. The one on sale is red. The Boots are from the cheapies section of WLRP and the style works so good for many types of role play. The Belt is a single obj you can scale to fit your shape. The gloves are by Fatewear and have been updated to include materials. If you own Dextor gloves, just get the update for free and you will have the new leather materials too. The Firey shaped horns are by Rue and on sale at WLRP. How many of you guys went thorugh a lot of Ls at the Tableau Vivant sale? I know I did. This one of the textures I got for 400L. Tableau Vivant and Glam Affair will both be down for 2 weeks as they remodel. The outfit on Faun is fantastic. It's by the Muses and includes all armor shown, and boots. There is a red and black version on sale too. The auburn dreads are a dollarbie at Discord Designs. The natural white version you can find in the marketplace here. The stag horns are by Aisling and were another sweet item at Fantasy Gacha. Her skin is a fun one, a rough-n-tumble girl, like a boxer, who has stiches under one eye, burised other eye, and a busted up lip. The skin comes in 2 tones and has appliers for Tango and Lush.

STORYLINE: Tempus Pirate Herschel Hertz built a nice life for himself traveling back in time. He "borrowed" key pieces of history to sell to eager collectors on the black market. But instead of counting all his platinum bars, he should have studied his history a little more. When he landed on the deck of the Battleship Yamato, looking like some kind of fashion mashup of warring nations.... Well, he was just glad his crew of grumpy salvagers rescued him before he was buried up to the neck in sand to roast in the hot Pacific sun.

Death Row has released lot of sweet new goodies. This cool captain's hat works great for men and women. It comes with a hud to change the texture on the front metal plate. (I went with the skull and crossbones.) The bullet belt for men is one solid obj so it's easy to scale it to fit your shape or outfit. The details are great! The steam gloves comes in 3 colors, and include a resize script for x, y, and z scaling so you can get a perfect fit easily. The outfit bt Phunk I got for Madpeas Mad City Film Noir look, but it also works great for WW2 looks. It's a complete outfit with coat, shoes, shirt, fedora, and cigarette or you can just wear the trenchcoat alone.

Time Pirate Hertz has a sweet cache weapons and they are all free from SciLab. That right, everything you see here is completely free. And that includes my favorite zombie hunting rifle. There is more in the gift box I didn't show here, a mesh bunny avatar, a castle, male and female armor outfits, and more. Such an awesome gift. All his new things are original mesh and really cool.

The Demise of Ludovico Sinistrati

STORYLINE: Ludovico Sinistrati was the inventor of the INCUBUS steam-class robots. As brilliant and wealthy as he was, he was deeply flawed. There wasn't a single living soul he actually liked. He was obsessed with creating a "better human" from gears and bolts; a friend who would always agree with him and do his bidding without complaint. So warped was his mind, that his idea of a romantic evening involved blindfolds, cages, and metallic paint. No matter what humiliating acts the ambitious silver-painted lady endured to win his favor, he simply trusted his robots more. 

There's a hat trick of awesomeness happening right now: Sinister Steam Hunt 3, Fantasy Gacha, and We <3 Role Play August. There are so many cool things, you will definitely be inspired. I know I was! In the image above, The skybox and gun turret for freebies from the Sinister Steam Hunt. The Gun Turret by Land of  Nodd can rez, derez, and follow the movements of anyone close-by, or you can lock  it in place.  The skybox by Potpourri Designs is stuffed with goodies. I used the Lair of Plotting Dastardly Deeds skybox, and I love the music box of spooky organ music to get you in the mood for Dastardly Deeds. lol Fantasy Gacha is wonderful. High quality original mesh items for low gacha prices. For example, a harness from Dark Prophet Designs will cost you 400L. Take a change on the Gacha and it will only cost you 75L. The rare include chains. At the sweet sales in We <3 Role Play August round, the Double Hanging Cage by Roawenwood comes with a nice set of animations that will pose both cages at the same time. The Silks by Soedara, which the Silver Lady is wearing, is made in mesh and comes with a really cool mask headdress. The chains that connect the wrist to the ankle are a particule effect. The metal scale poetic shirt by the Bastard is the clothing debut of the well respected designer of Rustica. The shirt is draped realistically across the body, it's a perfect fit, I dont even need an alpha unless I bend far forward. It has gorgeous detailed texture and includes metallic materials!

STORYLINE: So what happens when the creation of a diabolic genius suddenly becomes self aware without a drop of human compassion? ... Murder is what. It was a week after the INCUBUS' insurrection when neighbors complained about a bad smell. Still perched on Sinistrati's body was his favorite pet, the SpiderBot. It was an eyewitness to the brutal murder but being a simple robot, the police overlooked it and began a manhunt for the "real" killer, the Silver Lady.

Is this barber chair cool or what?  It's by Noctis and very much in the flavor of Sweeney Todd. Love it! It comes with optional gears for the chair, a mirror, a side table and shaving bowl, and the posters on the wall. You can pick it up in the Sinister Steam Hunt. The coat I am wearing is the new Dante by Fatewear. I love this so much. It has leather materials, also comes with a shirt and tie. Hair Fair is back with 4 sims of designers to help raise money for Wigs for Kids. The sims are decorated in a playful Legos theme. And the wonderful Prim Bus that slays lag like a champ? It's a giant Lego this year! How cool is that? (Scroll down for all the gift hair on Sim 4: Harbor.) Pictured above, I've got my skintight cyber suit on for a good reason, the Fair is packed! Crack out your own old school Lag Combat Suit(TM), wear no scripts, or attachements and you'll do well at this crowded event. My body glove is by Graves, and cool new Fawk hair by Gauze at the Fair. Don't have any handy system clothing left? Don't worry, you can pick up the free lowlag outfit at the landing. Here's another tip for you: join the Hair Demo group to try on hair demos at the comfort of your home. This is good idea too since many hairstyle come with Color Change Huds. The Mermaid Pearls Hunt prizes are awesome. Many good things to talk about in this image. First is this is a truly beautiful male mesh Ball Joint Doll avatar by Coco. The figure uses default avatar's rigging, so you can edit the shape to suit your taste, or try to make it fit in normal mesh clothes like I did above. The rigged boots by Lassitude and Ennui are a perfect match for DollCoco's size. The elegant boot pant from Tableau Vivant also works perfectly. The rich cool red quilted tunic by the Muses is on sale over at We Love Role Play right now. For the waist, I combined two belts: the mesh kilt belt by A:S:S and one of my favorite belts by Sey. I get many compliments on this demon blindfold by BjD, it's just so badass. It comes with a color hud. The wings are by Illusions, they can texture change and come with spread wings too. Double the fun with Magika using two hairs to create romantic elfish style. The katana sword has materials and is free from BareRose. The surreal Donkeys are from Medieval Fantasy Hunt at United InshCon. And get this, they actually poop gold. We Love Role Play: Conspiracy in Ancient Egypt

STORYLINE: Kaiser Kruel was not always known by that name. In the ancient world, he was Horemheb, the ambitious Commander in Chief of Pharaoh's army when the Two Lands was at war with itself at the end of the 18th Dynasty. A beautiful Mitanni princess, Nefertiti, brought with her a new monotheistic religion that plunged the nation into a bloody power struggle between the Bull Worshippers and the new Children of the Sun. The heretic queen met an ugly end, and was soon followed by her lovesick husband Akhenaten. His sickly child ascended the throne and was also quickly dispatched. Ankhesenamun, the naive widow of short-lived Tutankhamen, flew into commander's arms, begging him to save her from a marriage to a Hittite prince. He only pretended to care. His eyes were firmly set on the prize. Once she was gone, that left only Aye standing in his way. 4 years later, Horemheb would become the most powerful god king in the known world and return Ancient Egypt to glory.

p.s. I am monster Ancient Egypt fan. This is a fiction but it's also based on lot of historical knowledge of this time period.

First, let me say this Egyptian lady skin by Avea Heartsick combined with the dress by Arwen's Creations is stunning and perfectly coordinated. The crown is made to go with the Rocca hair by Tukinowaguma. The outfit comes with everything you see in the image plus clothing layer undergarments. If you love Ancient Egypt, RUN GO GET IT! Seriously. It's gorgeous. (When can I expect a male counterpart from Arwen's Creations? *taps foot impatient*) I am wearing the mesh armor on sale at event by Innoc. It comes in male and female, black and brown. You need to do some adjusting for a good fit on the unrigged mesh parts. The kilt I am wearing is rare item greatly needed, a long mesh kilt. This one by A:S:S comes with an awesome mesh belt in silver or gold, but for my purposes I used the L&B Biker belt to match the brown leather strap theme. I love my claw rings by Glitz. The Saint hair by Emo-tions could be like a punk version of the Sidelock hairstyle the Egyptian princes wore if you use a little imagination.
