Hunt News: BareRose 8th Anniversary - PixelMoon

BareRose is turning 8! To celebrate they are having the PixelMoon minihunt. I love the BareRose Hunts because they have nice storylines, sets, and multiple fun prizes. The XepetT outfit comes in sizes for male, female with tango applier, petitie, and titan. There is a prize for Tinies too! The little doll character Tiny Pinocco comes in two forms: a shoulder pet, and a Tiny avatar. The red fish hovercar is a wearable ride with blinking glow materials speical effects! Turn on your advanced lighting and you will see it. Pretty cool. If you hang around, you can win a purple version of the fish hovercar in the raffle. The hunt begins HERE and runs until September 9th.

I helped fellow blogger of Dark Phantom on her post this evening, and she helped me on the PixelMoon Hunt while Fulli is on vacation. Unfortunately, I was not able to get a good clean picture that had SSB, materials that rendered correctly (I get dark noise artifacts on materials), and shadows that rendered correctly (the hovercar + Aarya had missing shadows, and glowing transparencies turned to a solid flat black). I had to do heavy retouching in Photoshop to fix these errors. (I hope to get a reliable Mac materials viewer soon. All I can do for now is file bug reports.)

Fashion, Freebies, and Indogenes

This is my first post for Fashion + Freebies for Men & Women!!

I'm super excited :D

So for my first post, I decided to go with a female AND male look!

Everything is free or cheap and you can still get them all!

First up, the male look.

The outfit is from Hawker's House and is the gift for the Femboy hunt.
It will cost you 2L$, but the gift comes with the shirt, which is Mesh by the way, the pants, and a pair of Mesh slip-on shoes.

The shirt comes in 5 standard male sizes, and with an alpha layer. 

The pants are pants layer only, and come in regular and low rise.

My eyes and the white "blocks" on my face are the newest freebie, By Snow. 

These eyes are free in store and come with lots of options including prim and mesh attachments, several base layer eyes, and the facial markings in 2 colors and 2 tones. 

They are based of the Indogenes from the TV show, Defiance.

The piercing is the new Group Gift from Cute Poison.

it is Mesh and features a color change HUD for easy color choosing and is also unisex.

My necklace and bracelet are 1L$ each on the Marketplace from KOSH.

My hair is a hair fair gift from Hairoin called Sparrow in the Darkling tone.

 It comes in a pack of 3 separate colors to choose from, each with a matching hair base on makeup layer.

The shoes are another Femboy hunt prize, this time from Besieged. 

The shoes are Mesh, and come with a HUD for color change and re-size.

They will cost you 2L$.

lastly, my shape is another Femboy hunt prize, this time from Sephora.

This shape comes in a pack of 3 sizes, and with a bald hair base.

I'm wearing size one, the smallest of the 3.

It will cost you 2L$.

That brings the grand total up to 8L$ :O

Now for the female look!

The outfit I am wearing is free on the marketplace from Lethal and includes the scarf, the shoes, the top, and the bottoms.

My hair is an in store dollarbie from LCKY called Shy. 

It is a wearable color demo and is also Mesh and comes with a color change HUD.

The Mermaid Pearls Hunt prizes are awesome. There are many freebies for the men, (including a mesh tail!), underwater scene building items (including low land impact mesh!), and wildly popular Oceania plushie collectables. The Mermaid Pearls Hunt starts HERE. Click the Exclamation point. Below it, you will see a large parchment with a pearl on it. That's the hunt object you are looking for. Each person will take a different route on the hunt. Your route will be told in the local chat. You must do it in the correct order. There are handy signs throughout the sims that give teleport links to the stores. This is a great hunt, fast, and fun with fabulous prizes. Several stores also have freebies out in addition to the hunt prizes.

RMK Gothic Bunny Hunt: CAT WAR "The Cards"

RMK Gothic Bunny Hunt: The Jack of Spades

STORYLINE: When Alice arrived at the entrance to Wonderland, she saw the Jack of Spades standing there gobbling down a tray full of strawberry jam tarts. He looked up startled, then roughly grabbed her arm. "Hey! What are you doing here!" But Alice was not a journalist to be manhandled by an overgrown piece of paper. With a well placed heel, she jabbed the foot of the card soldier.

At the Bunny Hunt landing point you can get a free Card Solider outfit. Just click on Humpty Dumpty. You can only draw an outfit once. The card solider outfits are random. The Aces are rare and have  different color themes. The rarest is the black Joker with a white rabbit on the front. I have only seen one person so far with this rare Bunny!

Tableau Vivant has released a new mesh pant at FaMESHed that is a modern revision of the Hakama Tattsuke. Put it together with the new raffle prize Katana Claw at BareRose, and the Fantasy Hunt Wolf Eyes and makeup By Snow, and you get a Wolfie Ninja. He reminds me a bit of my favorite character from Naruto, "The Pervy Sage" Jiraiya. lol. The tattoo is from Batsu and on sale at Femboy Fashion Fair.
