News Report: Group Gifts and Freebies 7

Gentlemen, Start Your Engines.... While the girls have been shopping for Christmas all month, maybe even as far back as October, we true sportsmen know when Christmas shopping is SUPPOSED to happen, the night before!  It's more fun that way. Like a game. A race to snatch stuff before time's up. We dont really believe in over-thinking things, just go with a gut instinct, (and whatever is available). Here in SecondLife, we can practice our fine craft without getting stuck in traffic or chased down by perfume snippers in the malls. The goodies are free. We teleport, click, and BOOM! Done. Merry Christmas to all!

Saying Goodbye

I've been having a bit of a block these past few days. 

Take this post for example.

I had the pictures out, but I just couldn't seem to write something. You know that feeling when you want to work on it because it keeps nagging at the back of your mind, but everytime you do, you'll just be staring blankly at a screen? Spirit is willing but the flesh is weak. I dunno if all the RL and SL busy activities had killed off my wanting to write. Which kind of scares me. Especially since I got a lot of articles about to due. I also need to take pictures for Tacet and make a poster for FFFORM. I'm not complaining, but Tabby did suggested I should slow down a bit. 

I can't, though. Damn earth days don't have enough hours.

So, what's been happening lately? The cat farm that Tabby and I handled, -T H E   S T R A Y S - have reached prim count limit, and we're giving away 4 of our almost-retired cats and 7 newborn boxes for a small No-Killing fee (30L and 50L respectively). It's a sad, sad occassion in our humble farm. Mainly because most of our cats are named after our friends and I felt like we were selling them off.  We wanted to rename them to serial numbers so that it wont be so hard saying goodbye, but we didn't. We wanted them to go with names that doesnt make them sound like robots or what. 

I know, I know. It's pretty stupid. I get that they are pixel cats, but I still get, I dunno, melancholic if I think about that how they have to go away. Sorry, can't help it. Tabby says that that's what makes me a bad breeder. But psh. She's actually the one who handles the technicalities of KittyCats breeding. I'm just the farm boy who takes care of the place.

More Gifts for the Holidays

Belleza has given out a Christmas present for its members. I'm not sure if it's also put up in the main store, but I got mine from the notices section of the group. Group fee is 250L to join, but it's worth it since you'd also get 2 of the past group gift skins (Jacob and Ashton) at their store.

If you're interested to get yourself a pet this holiday, I recommend KittyCat's Starry Starry Night cat, a free gift from the store's advent calendar (Day 24) You'd also get other gifts from other days of the calendar, as well . I don't know how long they will have that calendar out, but the cat is part of  their Winter Collection 2011. Hurry and run to their store before the calendar board is gone.

A caution to you though. Don't dare look at their eyes! They'll lure you in with those big, googly orbs, and the next thing you know, you have 15 in your hands. Or 16 if you count the blue Starry Starry Night Cat that Tabby didn't rezz out yet.

At least, that's what happened to Tabby and I.
