Variations

When designers send out fat packs for review purposes, I always like to show more than one colour or version of their latest release. So today, while visiting an exhibition at The Cube Art Gallery, I took this picture of a variation of yesterday's outfit. Enjoy!

New Mesh Designer: Orion

It took me a while to find the perfect outfit to wear with my new scarves from REDGRAVE. The new cardigans with tee from Orion definitely are it: I wear the t-shirt in size M one size smaller than the cardigan (size L) which makes the liquid mesh (= self-adjusting) scarf a perfect fit.

The new Killian Hair & Cap from { Quandary } complete today's look together with one of my favourite pants from +REDRUM+ and my trusted boots from Gabriel.

Mesh Hunt Prize Of The Day

Another interesting hunt started on Feb. 25^th and runs till March 10^th : The Lavender Hill Hunt is the third hunt in a series based on a monochrome colour palette. This time round, the colour palette is tones of lavender. Click here for SLurls to the participating stores as well as for hints and pictures of the gifts.

The suit I'm wearing is the prize you can find @ EPICOSITY. Like every prize in this hunt it costs 5 L$ to honour the work of the creator.

Since this suit has a summertime appeal, I decided not to wear the shirt which comes with it or any shoes, but instead show you the new mesh feet released by ISPACHI today. They are very detailed and realistically textured and come with a HUD that makes them easy to fit.

Tainted No More

Vonie may have survived Valentine's Day, but he was moping around. I told him somewhere out there was a nice girl who would accept him and his condition. "Believe me," I said, "I know it's not easy being a boy with a curse." He listened as I recanted my own experinces. When I was done, he announced he would make a pilgrimage to the graves of our ancestors to pray for a miracle.

When Vonie came back, he excitedly told me about a beautiful girl he met crying in the garden. She looked so sad, he couldn't help but ask what was wrong. Although he was a stranger, she poured out her heart to him. She was grateful someone cared. The boys were mean to her. They pulled her hair and call her "Tainted." He could barely believe it when she shyly confessed her mother was a vampire. He immediately blurted his own "tainted" background. And then the most amazing thing happened, … she smiled.

I hope you liked the tainted series. Couldn't resist making a happy ending. lol. I am wearing the limited edition Valentines's version of the Epic Business Suit. The Red and Black Suit is no longer available, however you can scoop up this excellent suit in black, navy, brown, or grey. Each one comes with a nice texture change hud. You can play with the texture options in the inworld store by clicking on the different buttons on the display model. My posing partner is wearing the new dress from RokumeikaN named after her, Fuli. She was nervous about doing justice to the dress. I think she did great! Looks very cute. The Fuli dress is available in black, green, red, and white. The ribbon changes textures, just click on the bow to change colors.

Femboy Hunt Winter 2013, part 4

Today we will explore three stylized takes of Bosnian super model Andrej Pejic who has the amazing ability to model both male and female clothing. Going counter-clockwise through increasing degrees of cuteness:

On the left is my experimental take on Andrej. I am using Tableau Vivant skin Andrej and hunt prize hair Lythrum. Like a good model, he is showing us the new Epic Sweater from Epicosity which comes with a hud for changing 12 colors and 3 fabric patterns.

On the lower right is cute hunt prize Andrej by Aeva Heartsick that comes with 5 skin tones, options for brows and freckles, plus male shape for female base. This skin works great on the male base too! Glam makeup tattoo by Tori-Tastic. Both Visual Kei style hairs in blue are from Ayashi, the hunt prize is the darker blue.

On the upper right, the cuteness explodes with an adorable Chibi mesh avatar by Curious Kitties. Everything he is wearing is either a hunt prize or a freebie from the Curious Kitties store.

Cold Winter Nights

The Cold Winter Nights Hunt has lots of excellent little buildings

an "up in the snowy mountains"atmosphere.

Epic New Suits

It has been a long wait but finally the new business suits from EPICOSITY have been released.

New Release from :SEY

Unpacking a new release from :SEY is always fun. While I marveled at the vast amount of recolouring and retexturing options their latest “Ensemble & Cut-off “ sweater/t-shirt combination is offering via HUD (down to the individual retexturing of the straps), I was wondering what would be the best location to show it off.

To me, this sweater/t-shirt combination is something I would wear in the late afternoon at the beach (picture 1) but just as well at home, fresh out of bed (cut-off sweater only, picture 3), or going out to meet friends at a bar while outside the first snow is falling (picture 2).

!gO!ing Shopping For New Winter Clothes

Visiting !gO! main store for the first time I picked up a thick warm coat and a sweater for the upcoming cold season. The Terrible Trapper Hat from [AsYLUM] is a nice accessory to make sure that my ears don't freeze off on future excursions to SL Winterland. Next time, though, I should better take a scarf along and some gloves, too.
