Cheese Wars & Free-Trade Fries

The Transatlantic Trade and Investment Partnership (TTIP) is a proposed free-trade agreement between the EU and the USA which is highly debated both here and overseas and not just because of the question, whether it's very healthy to buy and eat hormone-enriched meat or genetically modified food from the United States or cheese that is made with raw milk that hasn’t been aged a minimum of 60 days from France. 

Personally, I'm prepared to take a salomonic stance and pass on both. And with real war threats looming, I won't even waste one minute of my sleep worrying about the news that (quote) Europe and America Are About to Face Off in a Cheese War. (unquote)

What doess worry me though is the fact that (quote): “TTIP undermines democracy and the rule of law : The agreement allows foreign corporations to sue countries for high compensation in secretive, arbitration proceedings when countries pass laws that could reduce the profits ...” (unquote) Read more here!

There, now let's see what SL has to offer us today to make you guys stop thinking about how well smelly cheese would go with a doped steak and vegetables on steroids. And no, calling that monstrosity a gourmet cheese burger with extra beef and free-trade fries doesn't make it any easier to swallow! Who wants this gooey stuff anyway? YEECH!
