Looks Of The Day 10/10/05

October has started with lots of new hunts and group gifts being offered. But, you never know what you may find. One moment a regular guy, one is turned into a hungry zombie on the prowl by MIASNOW in the blink of an eye, lol!

The prim eyes for your zombie look can be found at Ibanez which reopened at a new location. Grab the big bag with lots of free examples sporting the unique alpha layer which finally makes wearing (and fitting, if you read the NC) prim eyes as easy as the standard ones. And, don't forget to register with their SOM for future goodies here and there.

Fashion Telegram # 012

I was asked by 3 of my sponsors to pass you these informations:

1. Acid & Mala is supporting Truth Hawks, who has started a short campaign from the 4th to the 19th of September 2010 to raise money for UNICEFs current Pakistan Flood Crisis Fund. You can buy two sets of striped tanks (blues & greens) at this location if you'd like to support this effort too. The fat pack contains 4 colours, the price is 100 L$ and 60% will be donated to the fund!

2. Alli & Ali Designs have so many MM Boards all over the grid that it was hard to keep track. Now you just have to visit this location and click the different server boards to get all the info you need in chat: What hair style to find? SLURL to where to find it and current status of the MM board i.e. how many slaps are still needed. If this isn't progress!

3. MIASNOW offers a new fantabulous game/luck/cheepie vendor thingy at her main store. It's called Prizebomb and is loaded with 6 different unisex prizes. It detonates for L$25 and delivers to 7 winners per blast i.e the one who paid and 6 people standing nearby. The detonator always gets a good prize, including activation of the rare and super-rare items. The prizes are KAT Eyes blue, CARNIE Ace Eyes blue, XPRESSIVE Eyes hazel, a yellow low-prim tree, a low-prim rustic picture frame, and the RADIANT Heart tattoo.

But your dreams may not ..."

Zombies At The Beach

I really wanted to take the pictures at a picturesque site but then, you know, there's never a nice clean beach nearby if you need one. And since you believe in zombies, I guess it's no big deal to imagine the background of these pictures to represent a sunny coastline in Louisiana or Florida. Guess you then also have to imagine that there never was an oil spill either.

Getting Pretty

Today I like to wear sculptie vests, here's another one - this time from MayCreations (Biker Vest Black Used L). If you think I only blog pay items from this store than I have a surprise for you: The belt I wear (Belt Route 66 camo) is a freebie and you can get it right there on the MayCreations' dance floor.

The boots are freebies, too, and you already own them. If you didn't know about this, check the library folder in your inventory. Copy the boots right out of the sub-folder Clothing\Initial Outfits\Male Rocker Outfit. You may have to downsize your calves a bit to make them fit.

Actually this post is built around the pants. So what?++ offers them as part of their free Exposure outfit @ the SGB Summer Festa 2010.

The only thing missing now was something neutral to wear under the vest. For this the two tank tops from *Connors* (COTTON TANK SGB FREE) at the adjoining booth (ok, there is one booth in between, I forgot, lol) came in very handy. On the picture I wear the one called "COTTON TANK ORGANIC".

Not to forget some embellishment like the Skull Tie (Group Gift) from L&H Design and the Tattoo (Armor) which can be won by clicking the Midnight Mania Board @  Wicked Tattoos.

Btw: The Hair is an old freebie from Little Britain Designs and no longer available. Do check out their other cool hairstyles and outfits. Here's your taxi!
